The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art invites visitors to experience the world through our global collection of more than 40,000 original works of art. As an academic museum, our annual fund is essential to the success of our teaching mission: it allows us to activate our collection for teaching, learning, and inspiration through timely exhibitions and enriching educational opportunities for our Cornell campus community, residents and visitors in the Finger Lakes region, and art enthusiasts around the world.

  • $5,000will fund a meaningful internship position for one student during the academic year.
  • $10,000+will support art acquisitions for the permanent collection.
  • $25,000will fund expenses of educational and family programs offered to our community free of charge.
  • $50,000will support interdisciplinary exhibitions and produce exceptional scholarly publications.
