Chip Bryce ’81 has served as director of Cornell’s Office of Trusts, Estates, and Gift Planning since 1997. Previously, he was a planned giving officer and director of the university’s Program in Real Estate. Chip supported the longstanding Cornell Real Estate Council, spearheading the $4 million endowment campaign to successfully launch Cornell’s master's degree program in real estate and handling gifts of real estate to the university. He now oversees more than $100 million in gift transactions each year.
Prior to his work for Cornell, Chip held various positions related to real estate development and finance in the hospitality industry, the vast majority with the parent companies controlling the Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, and Harrah’s Casino brands. Chip is a native Ithacan and returned home for family and to pursue his hobbies of sailing, hockey, skiing, hiking, and life in a university-town environment.
