The Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management is a nationally ranked, top-10 business school. At the Dyson School, we believe an education is more than a world-class academic curriculum; it’s an immersive learning experience, providing students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge as analytical thinkers and problem solvers in real-world settings.

It is not enough to select the finest students, ground them in business fundamentals, develop their data skills and organizational insight, and push them to create value. As a part of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, our “Dyson difference” is to do more. Our graduates understand the role of business in addressing society’s greatest challenges. They practice what they learn. They know how to innovate and how to motivate. Above all, they understand what they do well and how their personal impact can be the greatest.

Dyson School students are thoughtful global citizens driven to leave the world better than they found it. Your annual fund support enables them to turn big ideas into transformative solutions, leaving a mark on their industries and their communities.

Through our Grand Challenges curriculum, Dyson School students are taught to look at business problems through the lens of finding a solution that also adds value to society. Through student programming, Dyson School students are exposed to all the different careers to pursue post-college, and how to still carry out our motto while working in the corporate world. Through our course offerings, Dyson School students have the opportunity to do research on, and implement change, in different areas related to UN Sustainable Development Goals—and even travel abroad to help underserved communities. All that being said, my Dyson School experience is preparing me to do the greatest good through exposure.
