Cornell recognizes, in many different ways, individuals whose support to the university displays the characteristics of loyalty, leadership, and legacy.

The Cayuga Society at Cornell was founded in 1993 to honor friends and alumni who have established planned gifts to the university or have provided for Cornell in their wills. These gifts are the ultimate expression of confidence in Cornell. Like the body of water that is such an important part of the university’s history, gifts given by members of the Cayuga Society will last for generations.

We celebrate Cayuga Society members through special events and small acts of recognition. There is no minimum gift level and membership is for your lifetime. We need only know that you have made a planned gift for Cornell and, if you wish, we can keep your membership anonymous.
